We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive.

Functions & Responsibilities:

Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelinesCheck policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevancePrepare proposals, policy summaries and reviewsAbility to use various online rating systemsProcess endorsements and placement requestsReview policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculationsHandle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questionsPerform other specific duties as directed by the Account ExecutivePursue a program of professional developmentBegin studies for appropriate licenses

Qualifications:

Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills1 year of relevant experienceAbility to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insuranceGood typing skills and computer literacyAbility to work within designated time framesGood interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills; Excel & Word a mustApplied Epic Experience PreferredLicense preferred

The expected pay range for this position is $34.34 an hour to $37.09 an hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and commissions for some positions.
