Overview Exclusively designed for the Allied Health professional with at least a 2 year degree or enrolled in the AHIMA Cancer Information Management Certificate Program. Credentialling (ODS) must be obtained within 18 months of commencement of program or 3 years of start date. Performs case finding, abstracting, and patient follow-up while demonstrating incremental knowledge in cancer coding principles using STORE, ICD-O, Solid Tumor Rules, AJCC Staging, CoC and State cancer reporting guidelines. Must meet the Baptist Tumor Registry incremental competency timeframe. Must demonstrate attention to detail, possess organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, time management skills, and has strong verbal and written communication skills.
