Description We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced legal professionals and gain hands-on trial experience while contributing to impactful cases. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal writing skills, attention to detail, and a passion for litigation. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare for and execute trial proceedings. • Conduct depositions and gather critical case information. • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other filings. • Research and analyze case law to support litigation strategies. • Manage case files and ensure all documentation is organized and up-to-date. • Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to streamline case preparation. • Participate in client meetings to discuss case progress and provide updates. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and legal teams. • Assist in developing arguments for motions for summary judgment and other legal strategies. Requirements • Possess 5+ years of legal experience, preferably with trial preparation and litigation. • Proven ability to take depositions and handle pre-trial responsibilities. • Exceptional legal writing skills, particularly for drafting motions and briefs. • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. • Motivated and driven with a commitment to achieving results. • Mock trial experience or equivalent litigation exposure is a plus. • Licensed attorney with the ability to practice law in Texas. • Reside in or be willing to relocate to Corpus Christi, Texas.
