The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Edmonton Arena District is looking for a resourceful, efficient and collaborative individual to join the Bessette Wealth Management team as an Associate. Home | Bessette Wealth Management of RBC Dominion Securities Inc. | Edmonton, Alberta

By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our Advisor team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable internal and external point of contact, you will play a key role in maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remains up-to-date and compliant and working with an Investment Advisor in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.

What will you do?

Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.Assist in the coordination of client events with the advisor and any sponsors, including event logistics, invitations, follow up with invitees, execution of event and follow upLeverage your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date and compliant.Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and deliveryUpdate client info in the team’s contact management system. Maintain a record of client details, interactions, meeting notes, and identify opportunities for follow up.Provide proactive client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessary.Assist the Advisory team with client onboarding.Help manage incoming communications; e.g., answer phone, triage Advisor’s e-mails.Review incoming mail, print reports, and distribute accordingly.Assist with preparing mail outs of client info packages, prospectuses, newsletters, invitations to seminars, etc.Assist with special projects for the team, including regulatory projects requiring account documentation updates or client communications and firm-led initiatives.Ensure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements.Maintain complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems.

Canadian Securities Course (CSC)Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) is an assetStrong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office SuiteHigh quality time management and organization skillsDemonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clientsExceptional verbal and written communication skills
