Role description:

At Arcadis IBI, We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead economic analysis projects within our Advisory & Planning practice for our Hyderabad office in India. This role combines advanced economic modelling expertise with project management excellence to deliver high-quality infrastructure Traffic (economic) studies and financial analysis for our clients.

Role accountabilities:

Traffic (Economic) Analysis & Project Management

Manage comprehensive Traffic analysis projects including revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and infrastructure economic studies Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery and adherence to quality standards Lead economic feasibility study management from initiation through completion Develop and oversee financial modeling and revenue forecasting initiatives Conduct risk-return analysis and sensitivity testing for infrastructure investments Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead project teams and coordinate with external stake holders including Clients and financial institutions Interface directly with client finance teams to ensure alignment with business objectives Manage complex economic projects while maintaining accountability for delivery quality and financial model accuracy Facilitate cross-practice collaboration with Traffic Engineering and other technical disciplines

 

Technical Excellence & Quality Assurance

Validate economic models and provide approval for financial assumptions, revenue projections, and methodology Ensure client financial presentation accuracy and professional delivery Maintain economic analysis quality assurance standards across all project deliverables Support financial advisory business development initiatives

 

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Traffic Engineering/Planning, Economics or related field 8-12 years of progressive experience in economic analysis and project management Proven track record in infrastructure economic studies and financial modeling Technical Competencies (Advanced Level Required) Financial Modeling: Expert proficiency in DCF, NPV, and economic analysis techniques Economic Analysis: Advanced skills in traffic/revenue forecasting and risk modeling Risk Assessment: Comprehensive understanding of risk-return analysis methodologies Mapping and Spreadsheet: Should possess advanced knowledge in mapping (e.g. QGIS) and MS Excel on Data analytics along with basic understanding in Programming.

Operational Competencies (Advanced Level Required)

Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex economic projects Financial Reporting: Expert-level financial communication and presentation skills Due Diligence: Advanced experience in due diligence processes and delivery
