What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Strategy & Development team. This role reports to the Senior Director, Strategy & Development and plays a key role in developing growth strategies, evaluating capital projects, analyzing financial performance, and working on debt financings for the organization. Working closely with senior executives, the Associate, Strategy & Development supports investments in acquisitions and new hotel developments as well as strategic pathways across multiple areas of the firm including corporate strategy, potential divestitures, corporate finance, and other special projects, all while gaining experience and exposure in the hospitality industry.

What You’ll Do:
New Hotel Development and Acquisitions
Evaluate new investment opportunities for Loews Hotels & Co
Perform strategic and quantitative analyses, conduct due diligence, and determine appropriate company and/or project valuation
Independently execute primary and secondary research on markets and projects
Coordinate with partners and other key stakeholders
Cover transactions from deal sourcing through execution, approval, and opening
Corporate Finance
Analyze opportunities for debt financing at both new hotel projects and for our existing hotel portfolio and assist in the execution of those debt financings
Manage monthly reporting for executives related to new investment and debt activities
Strategy & Financial Planning
Work with senior executives on major strategic decisions and special projects
Effectively communicate strategic updates by developing compelling presentations
Analyze and track performance of properties and the Company
Support communications with the Board of Directors and with Loews Corporation
Additional Responsibilities
Attend all required meetings and/or training sessions and maintain regular attendance in compliance with Loews Hotels & Co standards
Comply with required departmental and company policies, procedures and service standards and safety regulations and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Your Experience Includes:
Undergraduate degree required
1-3 years of relevant experience required; prior hotel/investment banking/consulting firm/commercial real estate firm experience preferred
Financial modeling skill are a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including use/navigation of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SmartSheet
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, professional, courteous and service-oriented manner
Strong organization and time-management skills with the ability to maximize efforts towards productivity, and meet deadlines
Ability to juggle multiple tasks & projects with superb accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with different personalities/work styles and adapt to the changes and needs of the company
Must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively, take a proactive approach, and anticipate needs
Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines
Ability and willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time/one two-day trip per month

Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $100,000.00 to $125,000.00.
