Associate, Strategic Finance - Mobility Product Finance

**This is a hybrid role and you must be located in, or willing to relocate to, San Francisco or New York for the position.**
**About the Role**
As part of the Mobility Product Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial strategy of Uber's next-generation products. This position focuses on building tools, analyses, and reporting to help drive visibility into product performance and investment decisions.
You will partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance stakeholders to provide accurate and insightful financial support that enables better decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and building technical skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
**What You'll Do**
+ Support financial reporting, forecasting, and capital planning for high-growth and scaled products
+ Build and maintain financial models to track key metrics, evaluate ROI, and assess product performance
+ Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Operations, Marketing) to gather inputs and ensure data accuracy
+ Conduct unit economics and profitability analyses to inform product and investment decisions
+ Develop reporting dashboards and automate recurring analyses using tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel/Sheets
+ Assist in preparing presentations and materials for leadership discussions
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and tools
**Basic Qualifications**
+ BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS or other relevant subject
+ 2+ years of proven experience
+ Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
+ Prior financial and/or analytical experience including FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or operations
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong analytical skills - standard methodologies are second nature, and your models are efficient, scalable, and intuitive
+ Strong communication and people skills - numbers are key, but a business is built with people
+ Self-starter - you will take initiative, be dedicated, set and drive toward goals
+ Ability to prioritize - we are consistently working on multiple projects at any given time, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment and has the ability to optimally multitask

+ Attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
+ Basic knowledge of GAAP
+ Experience with enterprise-level financial planning systems, SQL, and/or statistical software package
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
