Shipping Associate – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday – Friday ; 7AM – 3:30PM

Pay: $16.90

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Shipping Lead at VF looks a little like this.

Under the general direction of the shift supervisor, this person will be an active leader for employees. The Shipping Lead will assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production goals within the Shipping & Receiving department.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Working the Audit Line – Auditing a selected number of cartons per orderWorking the Packing Slip – Applying packing slips to the tops of cartons.Working The Error Lane – Identifying problems with cartons and fixing them.Collecting Ecom from OP – Ensuring all cartons make it to shipping.Manifesting Ecom Cartons – Ensuring cartons get on the proper truck.Palletizing Cartons – Locating cartons on the LTL lines.Loading FedEx and UPS trucks – Stacking cartons in trailers as they come down the line.Clearing Jams – Ensuring the line continues to run.

Basic level of education will be required; reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving, and accountability.Attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced distribution environment, supporting team members to meet operational targets and ensure smooth workflow.

 Foundation skills you will need in this position:

Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role.Familiarity with shipping practices and inventory systems.Strong organizational and communication skills.

Hiring Range:

$14.72 USD - $18.40 USD per hour

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
