What is the opportunity?

Do you excel in a fast-paced environment? Are you detail-oriented, systems savvy and a strong communicator? As an Associate in the Office of the COO of Investor Services, you will be a valued member of RBC’s Investor Services (IS) group. Working in a strategic function, you will be part of a team that is responsible for supporting executives and business leaders in meeting IS objectives. You will support the Director, Pricing in providing a variety of value add pricing analysis to fuel growth. You will partner with a variety of internal stakeholders (Product, Business Development, Client Coverage, Strategy & Projects, Operations, and Senior Leadership) to provide comprehensive analysis, reporting and modeling services to facilitate profitable growth.

What will you do?

Work with the core pricing team, and key business partners, to prepare pricing models (for new prospects, contracts up for renewal etc.)In partnership with various internal teams update standard rate cards and analyze the current revenue book to identify and follow-thru on re-pricing activitiesPrepare internal analyses to enable decision-making related to businesses and markets that IS operates inProvide a variety of routine, and ad-hoc, management reporting to Senior Leadership and others on the revenue book, product and activity costHelp with a variety of systems and process improvement initiativesHelp promote a culture of integrity by promoting open, honest and transparent dealing in the day-to-day management and execution of pricing deliverables

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Undergraduate degree in business or commerce. CFA, CPA or MBA preferred2+ years experience in Investment Banking, Advisory, FP&A or similar rolesStrong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and experience using data mining toolsExperience preparing materials and presentations for executive audiencesExperience synthesizing data from multiple sources into clear, articulate analyses and/or presentationsAbility to effectively manage competing timelines and priorities for multiple teams and across global time zones
