NOTRE DAME GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS
Notre Dame Global Partnerships (NDGP) manages the sales, marketing, sponsorship, multimedia rights, and branding services for the University of Notre Dame’s Athletics programs. A joint venture of JMI Sports and Legends, NDGP is singularly focused on building integrated partnerships with industry-leading brands that share the University’s commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.
THE ROLE
The Associate will be primarily responsible for operational and event support of the partnership success team. The Associate will also work directly with multiple NDGP Partners and/or their agencies, NDGP staff, and the internal departments of the University of Notre Dame, including but not limited to Athletics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provide best-in-class service and management of asset collection and event management of client accounts with University and Athletic Department staff (marketing, communications, social media, events, operations/facilities, etc.) to ensure delivery of all promised benefits Manage the planning and execution of NDGP and partner functions on campus. Examples include the management of scheduling meeting space, hotel room management, food and beverage ordering, check-in process, partner gifting, campus hosting, partner dinners, Athletics game management meetings, on-campus partner meetings, and events Organize and assist with the operational aspects and infrastructure of partner inventory elements through various tracking platforms: Trak, WMT, Zoomph, etc Manage the layout, planning, and execution of on-site partner activations during Athletics events, including, but not limited to, Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Hockey, as well as Legends Restaurant and Club Naimoli setup and breakdown Assist with all aspects of partnership activation; partnership assets may include, but are not limited to, IP rights, game day and in-market activation, television/radio/digital/social/print media, hospitality, and special events Renew and solicit new accounts for wholesale football game program sales with hotels, on-campus groups, etc., as well as deliver programs to hotel and campus partners on football Friday mornings Assist the football and men's basketball program management team with vending sales operational execution, including sales/special deals, delivery coordination, and communication with vendors Assist with team internal communications, summarizing the team's weekly activities Assist with Notre Dame Radio Network operations, including travel logistics, social media, and crew communications. Daily management of CRM data, including maintaining detailed records of activation activity and sponsor communication, and following Company standards for use and system hygiene Manage property gifting distribution and inventory Manage and collect proof of performance metrics data and images to develop year-end recap decks and renewal/upsell presentations Assist with partner ticket, hospitality, parking contractual, and guest implementation tracking. Assist with building and maintaining on-campus relationships in all departments Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Four-year college degree, with a business major and/or sports marketing internship experience preferred 2+ years of relevant experience in event management, sports/entertainment marketing, presentation material development or administrative support (experience in sports or sponsorship is a plus) Demonstrated understanding of the college athletics landscape, including partnership development Expert time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines on numerous concurrent projects Must be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to a variety of situations High level of attention to detail A true “team first” outlook, engaging in a variety of tasks to drive team success Able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Attendance at many Notre Dame football, basketball, and hockey home games is required to fulfill sponsor obligations Strong oral and written communication Proficient in all Microsoft Office and Google Workspace productsCOMPENSATION
Competitive base salary of plus bonus potential, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
