Job Description

What will you do?   

The Investor Services Associate position will serve as a resource to the Investor Services team regarding property level, fund level and syndicator/sponsor level requests.Facilitate delivery of due diligence and respond to Investor inquiries to ensure necessary Investor approvals for fund transaction closing are obtained.Prepare fund marketing materials, complete Investors’ fund and property data spreadsheets, provide property level and syndicator due diligence to Investors as requested, and assist with responding to Investor inquiries in a timely manner to achieve transaction closings. Review underwriting materials on affordable housing tax credit equity transactions prepared by lower tier deal teams and compile Investment Proposal materials for delivery to Investors.Work with other groups within the Company to gather and analyze Company and real estate portfolio data for presentation to Investors.Prepare presentation materials for Investor marketing and annual Sponsor review meetings.Aggregate Company historical data and create Investor specific reports as requested.Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies in the business.Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis.

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor’s Degree and two to five years’ experience in LIHTC, real estate or investment banking.Proficiency in MS-Outlook and MS-Office applications, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are all essential.Possess a strong interest in real estate investment and an ability to think critically and provide input on solutions and improvements to processes.Ability to work both independently and collaborate as a team, and a desire to learn and grow with an industry leader in LIHTC syndication.Preference for previous experience in real estate finance, transaction closings, tax-motivated investments or capital markets industry, or financial analysis.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $85,000 - $105,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
