What you’ll be doing 

As the Associate, Global Markets Sales you will be responsible for managing risk and assisting in providing pricing, working alongside trader team members to acquire and deepen knowledge in specific markets and instruments. You will apply extensive in-depth knowledge and skills to assist with daily funding of specific departments and assisting market making deals are booked correctly, taking ownership of processes and milestones in dedication to doing what’s right for clients.

How you’ll succeed 

Research – The Associate will learn and develop a depth of knowledge for financial analysis and about the business. In this role, you will gain valuable experience in writing reports, developing, and maintaining financial models, forecasting cash flow and earnings, researching companies, and analyzing industry trends. 

Client Focus - In participation with the Research Analysts they will participate in a quarterly conference call with investors and analysts from competing firms to get direct data and interaction with the companies' and industries' senior management team. The position also provides the opportunity to liaise with our Sales, Trading, and Investment Banking colleagues and clients as required. 

 

Who You Are 

Education. Please include a writing sample along with your cover letter, resume and transcripts (if recent graduate).  

Work Experience. Experience in the related industries is our strong preference. Background in accounting and finance is also an asset.  

Technical Skills. Excellent knowledge of PC applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) 

Collaborative. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with internal and external clients.  

Detail Oriented. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to complete and explain detailed financial and statistical analysis.  Strong multi-tasking and time management skills. Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
