What is the opportunity?
As an Associate, you provide proactive sales support and responsive value-based client contact for a team of Financial Planners. You are responsible for supporting the unit/team in achieving sales objectives by contributing to a differentiated client experience. In this role, you collaborate with partners across the organization to identify and meet client needs and goals, strengthening client relationships and making it easier for them to do business with RBC.

Must-have
Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada, or the Canadian Securities Course)Perform as a One RBC Advisor with a breadth and depth of expertise across everyday banking, investments and credit, with the ability to fulfill on a robust Advice Experience on both personal and business needsStrong client contact routines that build yours and your Financial Planners calendar proactively, integrating consistent retention and anchoring activities to help the team achieve greater resultsFlexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics, and a hunger for successAbility to work both independently and in a team environment, demonstrating strong collaboration skillsAbility to leverage your own capabilities, and those of the right partner in our ecosystem, at the right time, meeting client’s entire suite of financial needsNice-to-have
Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial industryAbility to provide increasingly complex everyday banking, investment and credit advice for both personal and business clientsWhat’s in it for you?
