WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this full-time hybrid role, you’ll join Bain’s Energy and Natural Resources (ENR CoE) team—65+ professionals organized across sub-sector specialties—within the Bain Capability Network. While currently headquartered in India, the team is expanding into the Americas, including Mexico City. Your immediate collaboration will be with Bain’s IntersectSM product team and case teams across the Americas.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
You’ll join Bain’s ENR CoE team in Mexico City. This growing team collaborates closely with Bain's global case teams and practice areas, delivering advanced analysis and insights that help clients navigate the energy transition. This role will specifically support Bain’s IntersectSM team, which combines economic theory, industry expertise, and proprietary tools to generate consistent market scenarios and guide strategic client decisions.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As an Associate in the ENR CoE, you’ll work on a variety of high-impact efforts, including:
Supporting case delivery and client development within the IntersectSM product teamLeading analytical workstreams with direction from Project Leaders, and occasionally managing full cases independentlyCollaborating with ENR and IntersectSM practice leaders on product development and deploymentCoaching and mentoring Analysts by providing regular feedbackContributing to the development and optimization of energy modelsDriving client outcomes through thoughtful and rigorous analysis
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for candidates who bring a combination of strong consulting experience and deep analytical skills:
Post-graduate degree with 2-5 years of consulting experienceExcellent problem-solving capabilities and strong team orientationProven ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive under pressureProficient in written and spoken English at C1–C2 level, with strong stakeholder communication skills.Quantitative and qualitative analytical expertise; proficiency in Excel, Tableau, AlteryxA solid understanding of macroeconomics and the energy and natural resources sector is a plusWillingness to travel regionally within the Americas, if needed
