Associate, Data as a Product – Advertising
As an Associate Data-as-a-Product in our advertising organization, you will support the development and execution of data-driven products that power audience insights and ad monetization. You’ll help manage the roadmap, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure our data tools—such as audience segmentation platforms, reporting dashboards, and analytics products—are reliable, effective, and privacy-compliant. This role will give you hands-on experience working with modern cloud data technologies (e.g., Snowflake on AWS) and first-party data platforms (like Permutive) in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that impacts millions of users.
You’ll work closely with senior product managers and stakeholders across data engineering, ad operations, sales, and marketing to help bring data products to life.
Responsibilities
Support product strategy & roadmap: Assist in refining the vision and roadmap for advertising data products, such as campaign reporting tools and audience analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements, document user stories, and define product acceptance criteria. Translate technical and business needs into actionable tasks.
Contribute to data infrastructure projects: Help monitor and support the development of data pipelines and platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS services) to ensure they meet reliability and data quality standards.
First-party data integrations: Partner with senior team members to support the integration of CDPs and clean room technologies (e.g., Permutive), ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and enhancing audience segmentation capabilities.
Advertiser reporting & analytics tools: Assist in the development and iteration of dashboards and tools that turn raw data into actionable insights for internal teams and advertisers.
Maintain data quality & governance: Work alongside privacy and governance teams to help uphold data management standards and compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
Agile product development: Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Support engineering teams by clarifying requirements and helping with QA and release coordination.
Track KPIs & performance: Assist in tracking product performance metrics and gather feedback to inform product improvements.
Identify risks & blockers: Help monitor project risks and work with senior product managers to address challenges as they arise.
Foster collaboration: Promote open communication and knowledge sharing across teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of product goals.
Qualifications – Required
1–2 years of experience in product management, data/analytics, or ad tech .
Familiarity with cloud data infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) and basic understanding of data engineering concepts like ETL pipelines and data warehousing.
Mandatory foundational knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, programmatic media)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a cross-functional environment.
Qualifications – Preferred
Hands-on experience (academic or professional) with BI/visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
Exposure to privacy concepts or frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, cookie deprecation).
Experience or coursework related to agile product development.
Work experience in media, streaming, publishing, or advertising environments.
Certifications in product management, cloud platforms, or data tools.
Shift Timings:- 11.30 AM to 7.30 PM IST
