Job Description

The candidate should be able to remediate the security findings on the applications, middleware, databases and operating systems. The incumbent should have a good hands experience on Linux and Windows Core Operating Systems as well as knowledge of Shell and Powershell scripting.

Essential Functions:

Application Server administration hands on experience. Must be good in at least one of the application server Apache Tomcat, Oracle Weblogic, IBM WebsphereHTTP Server administration experience. Must be good in at least one of the technology Apache HTTP, Oracle HTTP, NginxHands-on experience in any one of the database like Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL.Basic understanding of Data Replication, Clustering, High Availability, etc.Basic understanding of network elements like Firewall, Load Balancer, Global Traffic Manager, DNS, etc.Prefer candidates who has the experience in automating frequent mundane tasks.Candidates with knowledge in Python, WLST scripting or Ansible will be a plus.Experience in working with Single Sign on, Certificates, Ciphers, distributions of JDK or JRE in market.Experience in developing the CICD pipelines in Jenkins, AzureDevOps or GitHub.Experience working with monitoring tool like Splunk , Promotheus and Grafana

 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in computer science, information management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.Good problem solving skills with focus on troubleshooting issues in complex production environments.Willing to learn new technologies and software, thinking out of the box, questioning the norm and innovative.Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills requiredExperience collaborating with small to medium sized teams working in an onsite and offshore model.
