We are hiring a Value Stream Leader (VSL) in Winston Salem NC for Main Cabin Seating. The role serves as the lead function accountable for the business success of the full value stream lifecycle from inception through completion, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development, produce to deliver, service/support, and long-term strategic business plans. The VSL serves as the face of the organization to multiple clients and customers. They are responsible for the successful execution of programs to meet strategic goals and maintains associated measures of success. The role will have direct responsibility for Value Stream Managers / Program Managers and Customer Service Representatives, who support the customer through flawless execution of tactical and strategic projects.
The candidate for this position must be able to work onsite in Winston-Salem, NC but will have the option of remote periodically.
This role is eligible for relocation support.
**What Will You Do** :
+ Lead cross-functional teams—including Program Managers, Customer Service Representatives, and Value Stream Managers, on the execution and continuous improvement of existing and new programs.
+ Serve as a primary point of contact for multiple OEM and commercial customers, managing expectations, resolving issues, and driving customer satisfaction across product lines.
+ Establish and maintain strong, high-level relationships with customers, acting as a strategic advisor and voice of the customer within the organization.
+ Engage regularly with customers to understand evolving needs, communicate program performance, and negotiate solutions that align with enterprise commitments.
+ Drive strategic initiatives and manage end-to-end performance of assigned value streams, including mid- to large-scope programs and multi-year R&D investments.
+ Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to guide Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in data-limited or complex environments.
+ Lead change management efforts and implement new product or service capabilities with measurable impact.
+ Coach and develop team members using Collins Management System and standard work tools to foster an empowered, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
+ Ensure full compliance with applicable policies, safety standards, and quality systems, while supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
+ Support business travel up to 25%.
**Qualifications You Must Have** :
+ Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
+ 2+ years of experience working with leadership and stakeholders at various levels of an organization.
+ 2+ years of management experience.
**Qualifications We Prefer** :
+ Experience with main cabin seating customers and programs
+ Master’s Degree
+ Aerospace experience
+ Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification
+ Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
+ Lean manufacturing knowledge with understanding of RCCA analysis, kaizen and value stream mapping.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
