Opportunity summary: Responsible for analyzing financial and operating results to provide management with information regarding the impact of administrative management. Ensure that company processes are followed as established and conduct and supervise audits and control processes carried out in the company to comply with company and legal regulations.
How you will impact Smurfit Westrock
* Strategic Planning: Support in the development of investment projects in machinery, equipment and new technologies to maximize plant productivity and/or develop new products; CAPEX.
* Financial Planning: Support in the development of the annual operational work plan, sales budget, profit budget, and quarterly financial forecasts.
* Prepare executive presentations for management presenting relevant process updates and improvements.
* Internal Control: Examine, verify, evaluate and report on financial, operational and managerial processes, systems and outcomes to ensure financial and operational integrity and compliance of Smurfit Westrock Group procedures and compliance with regulatory standards. Execute Sarbox Controls. Monitor, automate, disseminate, and keep company procedures up to date for their proper execution. Evaluating and reporting on the cost effectiveness of internal control systems and recommending performance or control improvements.
What you need to succeed:
* Required: Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, economics or business administration.
* 1-2 years of administrative and sales support experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and minimum English level C1.
* Required: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate/advanced level in Excel.
* Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs.
* Diligent with great attention to detail.
* Possess strong collaboration skills with stakeholders across functions.
* Ability to set priorities, achieve deadlines, and manage multiple tasks at the same time.
* Ability to work under limited supervision and to function both independently and as a team member.
* Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills.
* Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with high enthusiasm and team-oriented.
