Assoc, Sr. Professional, P3, Change, Analytics & Strategy : Job Level - Associate

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in the Fixed Income Transformation team within ISG Fixed Income primarily responsible to support various FX Ops projects required to support business growth, migrate to strategic system from legacy system, support industry mandates, and a variety of business enabled front to back projects.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level within Change, Analytics & Strategy, which is responsible for developing operating and technology strategies, managing and executing transformation initiatives, leading Agile fleet activities, driving innovation, developing analytics solutions and delivering business outcomes.

What you'll do in the role:

Execute complex processes and assist a Team Manager in coordinating processes, risks and/or projects in a Team Lead capacityRecognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and leverage detailed knowledge to propose changes in processTrain others, allocate tasks and support with first line escalation where requiredServe as the project manager and business analyst and be accountable for overseeing multiple projects through multiple phases with ultimate responsibility for successful delivery of the assigned projects on-time and in budgetTake responsibility for the definition and realization of project business case including cost and risk reduction opportunities and conceive innovative strategic solutions through software delivery, re-engineering opportunities or other business transformation activityReport accurate progress, risks and issues; ensure benefits are tracked and realized; and manage and maintain vendor relationships in order to deliver on projectsUnderstand the detail of Industry and Regulatory change driving projects, participate in industry forums

What you'll bring to the role:

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their teamAbility to operate independently with respect to some job responsibilitiesCulture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core valuesDemonstrate analytical skills and attention to detail in their prior work experienceExperience in large-scale project /portfolio change managementMobilize cross functional teams to resolve issues using both tactical and strategic solutionsAnticipate problems/obstacles and understand the ramifications to businessProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio preferredAt least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
