REPORTS TO : Head-CED/Reporting Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Abide by Ethics, Internal Controls, and safety policies as per company standards. Support deployment of new products and components. Specifying standard products and contract specific modifications (As per customer’s requirement) to standard base products with bills of material to meet customer needs. Preparation of Bill of Material (BOM) and Production Drawings (Data) for each contracts as per the customer requirements (Standard & Non-Standard) and releasing the production documents to Inter Departments for Manufacturing of Elevators Should have knowledge on codes and standards of Elevator such as IS 14665, IS 15330, NBC 2016, EN81-20/50 etc. Support maintenance of engineering database current in co-ordination with other members of the department. Ensure to Maintain quality of the product related to contract engineering functions. Promote and Implement the Continuous Improvement Process within area of responsibility and across other BW functions. Support manufacturing teams for all products and components Technical Queries. Provide support as a trainer in engineering related subjects. Perform specific tasks as assigned by the department head from time to time based on organization need. Perform all JDE related activities of CED. Support New product deployment.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a reputed institution// Diploma in Electrical Engineering with rich experience on Vertical Transportations
EXPERIENCE
1 -2 years of experience in any reputed Elevator Industry /Equivalent Engineering industry
ANY OTHER KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES IF REQUIRES
Working knowledge in a computer aided design (CAD) drafting software Wiring diagram is essential. Knowledge of Windows / Microsoft Office based applications. Conversant with Electrical systems / component design. Good Communication skill, good teamwork, and good attitude.
