Job Description

The Assistant Wellness Manager supports the Wellness Manager and Director of Spa in the overall operations and management of the resort’s wellness facilities, programs, and services. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences by delivering holistic wellness treatments, coordinating fitness and wellness activities, and maintaining high service standards aligned with the resort's brand and philosophy.

Assist in the daily operations of the spa, fitness center, and wellness facilities.Ensure all areas are clean, well-maintained, and operating efficiently.Oversee the scheduling and coordination of wellness activities, classes, and treatments.Manage spa inventory, product usage, and ordering to control costs.Welcome and assist guests with wellness consultations and recommendations.Ensure guest satisfaction through personalized wellness programs, follow-ups, and exceptional service.Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive outcome.Assist in leading and motivating the wellness team, including therapists, fitness instructors, and spa attendants.Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to ensure consistent service quality.Support recruitment and onboarding of wellness team members.Support in designing and implementing wellness programs, retreats, and special events.Stay updated with industry trends, new treatments, and holistic therapies.Promote spa and wellness packages to increase revenue.Assist in creating promotional offers and seasonal wellness activities.Support the development of marketing materials and social media content related to wellness servicesPrepare reports on spa and wellness performance, guest feedback, and revenues.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

 

QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in this roleIn-depth knowledge of spa & wellness operationsExperience in luxury hotel environmentsPositive attitude with an open mindsetStrong team management skills with excellent organizational abilitiesProactive and innovative in generating ideas
