Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President - Public Relations and Executive Communications Lead
Genpact is building a fundamentally new company: an advanced technology leader built on deep industry and business knowledge, and operational excellence. The chosen candidate will partner closely with the business and marketing to raise awareness of Genpact’s strategic shift, thought leadership and solutions with media and through Genpact’s executive voices. They will be responsible for public relations and executive communications and supporting the business in effectively communicating around key trends, issues and crises in the Americas, with a priority focus on the US market.
Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders, functions and agencies to understand business needs, perceptions and trends that affect changes in reputation, audience sentiment and behaviors
Develop the narratives, content, and channels to grow Genpact’s brand and reputation across the Americas and in the US in particular
Build media relations and maximize media coverage and audience dialogue through story development and media activity
Develop a wide variety of communications content including storyline/ messaging documents, briefing papers, pitches, press releases, POVs, FAQs, social media posts, videos, briefing papers, FAQs, presentations/ keynotes
Co-manage spokesperson development and communications training
Identify conferences, and speaking opportunities in the US for Genpact spokespersons
Collaborate closely across marketing functions to design and deliver integrated communications campaigns
Partner with issues and crisis communication to proactively and reactively build and protect our reputation
Partner with business and marketing teams on strategy metrics across all channels and to measure, analyze, and evaluate the sources and tactics that produce the best results for the organization
Bring new and creative ideas and approaches forward to the team.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Proven experience driving external communications, ideally in the technology industry
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong understanding of business and communications issues
Experience in public relations, issues and crisis communications, and executive communications
Excellent written and spoken English
Ability to strategically and creatively translate business priorities into stories and visual concepts that are relevant and engaging to a broad audience across various channels
Knowledge of social and digital channels
Conveys credibility and can provide counsel to senior level executives
Strong interpersonal skills and an intuitive ability to read people
Courage to challenge the status quo, manage critical situations through consultation and partnering
Self-driven, self-motivated, highly organized and moves forward with agility
Intellectually curious, willing to challenge, bring new ideas to the table in pursuit of better.
Fast paced, with capability to self-manage multiple projects and deadlines

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is [$100,000 to $125,000]. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
