Purpose of the role
To understand, assess, and manage climate-related financial risks by combining financial expertise . and understanding of climate change. Support the Bank in enhancing disclosures and meeting regulatory demands. Provide data and insights that inform decision-making and support the bank's transition to a low-carbon economy.
Accountabilities
Support the development of the bank's climate-related financial strategy, including risk management strategies, investment strategies, and climate action plans.Identification, assessment, and analysis of climate-related financial risks, and the development of risk assessment methodologies and tools to measure and monitor climate-related financial risks.Management of climate-related data and governance around data quality to enable measurement of the impact of climate change on the Bank’s financial position and climate strategy.Preparation and review of climate-related disclosures, and communication of climate related financial risk to senior colleagues and investors.Assistant Vice President Expectations
