Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Engagement Manager - ANZ

In this role, the incumbent should be dynamic and results-oriented professional to align with ANZ teams as part of our regional client focus strategy. This role involves supporting new opportunities and key client relationships (including CXO-level stakeholders), ensuring successful delivery of engagements, and collaborating with cross-functional global teams. The incumbent should have a strong business engagement mindset, a basic understanding of technology products and services, and a proactive attitude to drive outcomes. 

Responsibilities

Support and pursue new leads and commercial opportunities in line with the regional strategy.

Develop tailored pitches, proposals, and value propositions for prospective clients in line with the account strategy

Support end-to-end engagement lifecycle including qualification, proposal creation, client engagement etc.

Collaborate with marketing and pre-sales teams on regional strategies.

Engage the relevant internal Genpact teams and service lines team to develop solutions

Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, including client CXOs.

Build long-term relationships, ensure satisfaction, and uncover expansion opportunities.

Understand client business needs and translate them into actionable solutions aligned to Genpact strategy

Work closely with delivery teams to ensure client commitments are met.

Track and manage project milestones, resource allocations, and client communications.

Proactively address risks and issues in delivery and escalate as needed.

Partner with Service Lines, SMEs, Delivery, Pricing, Legal and other cross functional teams across geographies.

Provide regional insights to help shape solution development. Represent the region in forums as needed and drive alignment on key initiatives.

Maintain a working knowledge of Data, Tech and Ai offerings relevant to regional requirements.

Stay updated on regional market dynamics and competitor strategies. 

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Experience in client management, consulting, or delivery roles in a technology or services firm.

Experience in managing executive relationships and closing medium-to-large sized deals. Preferred in FMCG/Retail/Hitech industries.

Strong understanding of the sales cycle, solution selling, commercial models and account growth.

Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations, with strong storytelling.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in working with cross-cultural and remote teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or a master’s degree in business or Strategy.

Exposure to digital transformation and technology platforms /innovation.

Prior experience in a consulting firm or digital services provider.

Familiarity with CRM tools and project management tools. Awareness of emerging technologies and digital business models.
