The Analytics & Data (A&D) team within Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Strategy and Analytics owns all the management reporting, customer and product behavior insights, and predictive modeling in support of Wealth Management, Banking, and Firmwide Marketing. The A&D Strategy team is responsible for leading, structuring, and providing the “rocket fuel” for many of the key projects within analytics. The team focuses on high-impact initiatives identified in partnership with senior executives and leaders throughout the firm.
You will engage teams across the organization to help drive business-impacting projects across the company. You will be responsible for managing projects including scoping, identifying key issues and actionable opportunities, and designing and implementing solutions, while providing real business and financial impact. As an AVP, you will oversee multiple workstreams and will collaborate with the team to build hypotheses, analyses, and develop and implement solutions. You will build relationships with various key stakeholders across the organization.

The primary focus of this role will be to manage cross-functional strategic initiatives aimed at modernizing best-in class analytics and marketing practices and platforms and to manage a Data squad and associated tech resources responsible for Reporting and Analytics initiatives; the team member will work closely with stakeholders in WM Marketing, Machine Learning, Marketing Analytics, and Technology teams.
Job Qualifications:
BA/BSMinimum of 3-6 years of experience with one or more of the following:Management consulting firm or an internal consulting team or relevant corporate experience (strategy, transformation)Strategy or process improvement efforts within an operations environmentExperience in financial services preferred, Wealth Management expertise a plusProblem solving skills – Demonstrates the ability to identify key issues, gather data to investigate those issues and develop actionable recommendations and options for discussion with Management.Analytical skills – Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. NJ - Salary range for the position: 85,000 - 140,000 Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus. NY - Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
