**Responsibilities:**
+ Manage the overall finance functions of the Labuan Branch (including finance operations)
+ Review and submit regulatory financial and statistical reports to Labuan Financial Services Authority (LFSA)
+ Review and submit J-GAAP and US-GAAP returns to Head Office
+ Review and submit management reporting to Head Office
+ Resposible for all external and internal audit & tax related matters
+ Ensure reconciliation of all key accounts (including Nostro and Vostro) on timely basis
+ Ensure tax return is submitted to IRB and tax payments are paid promptly
+ Review, assess and improve internal control over financial reporting and operations
+ Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key internal and external stakeholders
+ Based in Kuala Lumpur but willing to travel to Labuan as needed
**Requirements:**
+ Applicant must have a recognized degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA).
+ Preferably 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting within the banking or financial sector.
+ Prior experience in LFSA reporting is an added advantage.
+ Strong understanding of Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
+ Solid experience in preparing regulatory reports.
+ Ability to work independently and apply strong problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and presentation skills to engage with business stakeholders.
+ Team-oriented, with the ability to build relationships and take lead on accounting functions within the branch
