Conducts miscellaneous lubrications of parts outside PM schedule, changes light bulbs, installs wiper blades etc.
Checks fluid/top-offs on vehicles
Inspects tires
Assists with vehicle PMs
Changes batteries, jump starts etc.
Files general fleet documents
Maintains parts inventory as described by Unit management
Qualified to drive trucks from the Unit to maintenance facility
Picks up parts from vendors and ensures company accounting procedures are followed (purchase orders)
Escorts vendors if required
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma preferred
Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year of related work experience
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
