4 Year Degree Young Harris College is accepting applications for an Assistant Tennis Coach. Under the direction of the Director of Tennis, the Assistant Coach will support all aspects of organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices and match preparation. Responsibilities include assisting with the evaluation and recruitment of qualified prospective student-athletes, managing equipment and apparel inventory, and helping with travel and logistics.

The Assistant Coach will also contribute to player development on and off the court, support academic success in coordination with The Student Success Center, and represent the program at institutional and community events. Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Tennis or Director of Athletics.

Compensation for this position includes competitive pay, room, and board. Candidates holding a valid OPT card at the time of application are welcome to apply.

Prerequisite Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Collegiate tennis playing experience preferred.

Knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations required.

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Demonstrated commitment to student-athlete success both on and off the court.

Valid driver’s license.

Ability to perform physical activities associated with coaching tennis.

Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
