The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a 50% Assistant Teaching Professor position in the Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics Division for Fall 2025. **What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be**
The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring a part-time Assistant Teaching Professor (50% appointment) in the Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics (OLIA), with a start date of August 14, 2025. We seek an educator with expertise in statistics, Python programming, Excel, and generative AI, who is passionate about preparing students for the data-driven demands of modern business environments.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in business analytics and information management, with a strong emphasis on practical, hands-on learning. Coursework will equip students with data literacy, programming, statistical analysis, and the ability to apply AI in decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Teach courses in statistics, business analytics, and information management.
+ Deliver instruction in Python programming, including object-oriented principles and open-source libraries.
+ Integrate Excel-based statistical analysis into coursework.
+ Introduce students to the principles and applications of generative AI in business contexts.
+ Emphasize real-world applications of supervised machine learning and data storytelling for business decision-making.
+ Support students in developing critical thinking, problem formulation, and data communication skills.
+ Collaborate with OLIA faculty to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.
**What We Can Offer**
This is a one year contract. The salary range for this 50% appointment is $49,000.

**What We Require**
+ Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in statistics and statistical modeling.
+ Strong working knowledge of Python, including data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn).
+ Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
+ Familiarity with generative AI concepts and tools.
