POSITION SUMMARY Valley Charter Elementary is seeking teaching assistants (TAs) to support our students for the rest of the 2025-2026 school year. TAs will work with one classroom and also supervise students on the yard and during lunch. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm. Please do not apply if you cannot work those exact hours. There is an opportunity to begin at 7:30 as well. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the classroom teacher with activities and lessons. Work with students individually or in small groups. Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and unstructured time (e.g., nutrition, lunch) Assist the teacher by making copies, organizing materials, and preparing for lessons. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a high school diploma and be working on or have completed their Bachelor’s degree.This is a great job for an aspiring teacher.
