Beechmont Country Club is a premier private 18-hole golf course known for exceptional course conditions and a high-quality playing experience. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our turf management team and help maintain and elevate our championship-level course.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Golf Course Superintendent works closely with the Superintendent to oversee daily golf course operations, maintenance practices, and staff management. This position is ideal for a turf professional seeking leadership development and hands-on experience with all aspects of golf course agronomy.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing daily course maintenance activities.

Supervise and train grounds crew staff in proper turf care techniques.

Scout the golf course for turf health, pest issues, and irrigation needs.

Operate and maintain irrigation systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.

Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf products as directed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Maintain detailed records of chemical applications and maintenance practices.

Help manage course setup for daily play, tournaments, and special events.

Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all course equipment.

Foster a safe and positive work environment for the team.

Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2 years of golf course maintenance experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Possession or ability to obtain a State Pesticide Applicator's license

Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, disease management, irrigation systems, and best maintenance practices.

Ability to lead and motivate staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
