This is a full time hourly position with a wage rate of $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Assistant Store Manager
Our store teams are the enablers for our customers to experience the difference of a Cotton On (Brand) Store. Here everyone is welcome and appreciated.
You drive the amazing message of our Foundation and how our teams and customer are making life changing impact in our projects around the world.
You bring your commercial eye to the store, spot trade opportunities, support your team to excel and feel pride at enabling team promotions around you.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager to deliver to our customer and our people. Our Assistant Store Managers works closely with the Store Manager to understand daily/weekly/monthly store priorities and assists in assigning projects and tasks to Key Holders and Sales Associates as well as ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience:
A Passion for product, brands, fashion and trends!1+ years of Retail Management, preferably fast fashion experience1+ years proven track record inspiring and managing diverse and high performing teamsDemonstrated result and acumen in driving sales, stock and service deliveryKnowledge of retail merchandising practices, including the ability to execute VM directives and deliver on world class visual merchandising standards with your teamAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening, weekend and holiday shiftsOutstanding communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environmentAbility to move around the store throughout the shift/workdayAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly (e.g., boxes or other merchandise packages, bins, clothing racks, stools/ladders)Ability to regularly squat/kneel (e.g., to access under-storage bins, during visual resets)Ability to regularly use a ladder, step stool or raised platform safely to complete required tasksMust be at least 18 years of age or older to apply
