Position Title: Assistant Softball Coach

The Department of Athletics is seeking a highly motivated, organized and dedicated professional for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. Bradley University is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference.
This twelve-month, full-time position is responsible for assisting with all phases of a Division I softball program with an emphasis on defensive development and management. The ideal candidate will also provide on the field coaching, assist equally in student-athlete recruitment, equipment management, team travel, game and practice organization and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred. At least 1 year of collegiate coaching or professional playing experience is preferred for this Assistant position. Candidate must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills; computer and video knowledge, preferably Rightview Pro, writing skills; ability to interact effectively and enthusiastically with diverse student-athletes, colleagues and the public, ability to initiate and complete projects within specific deadlines, knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations and willingness to fully support the mission and values of Bradley Athletics.
