THE JOB:

As the Assistant Security Shift Manager at New York-New York, you’ll play a key role in keeping the energy of the Big Apple alive and secure. You’ll lead your team with confidence, ensure every shift is fully staffed and operating smoothly, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Promote a safe and secure environment for guests and employeesEnforce company, local, state, and regulatory safety policiesManage security officers, support staff, and department operationsImplement procedures, enforce policies, and provide coaching or discipline as neededDocument incidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-upRespond to emergencies and reported threatsAct as a liaison with outside agencies during security incidentsAssist with and oversee onsite investigations as neededAddress guest questions and concerns quickly and professionally

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must be 21 years of age or olderTwo (2) years of direct security experience in a high-end resort/casino environment or law enforcement and/or military experience, with previous supervisory experience or in a team leader capacityExceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholdersAbility to maintain professionalism and master leadership abilitiesMust be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
