THE JOB:

Become a Security Assistant Shift Manager and lead your team in overseeing and managing efficient operations and safety for all. In this vital role at MGM Northfield Park, you'll set expectations for performance, uphold company policies, and create a secure environment that enhances the guest experience!

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Manage security officers and department operations, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating officers, enforcing policies, and administering discipline and coaching.

Promote a safe and secure environment by overseeing guest and employee safety and ensuring compliance with state, local jurisdiction, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.

Act as a liaison with outside agencies during security incidents to ensure effective communication and response.

Assist management with onsite investigations, coordinating and supervising as necessary to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.

Address guest questions and concerns promptly, either personally or by liaising with the appropriate departments or management for resolution.

Respond to emergencies and reported threats, documenting incidents and ensuring proper escalation for further reporting and resolution.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

Possesses 2+ years of relevant experience in security.

Will be able to work varied shifts, including overnights, weekends and holidays, for up to 10 hours long.

Brings exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with multiple departments.
