The Opportunity: Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a full-time permanent motivated, organised, and guest-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest dining experience and smooth team coordination and supporting operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, scheduling, and quality control. Your natural warmth and professionalism will be key in creating heartfelt guest connections and unforgettable stays.

 

What You Will Bring:

A background in fine dining and wine service is essential

Previous senior level / supervisory Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5-star properties, specifically managing VIP guest requirements

Excellent communication and a team-oriented mindset

A genuine passion for guest experience, with attention to detail

Confident use of Hospitality Management systems

Immaculate personal presentation

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Strong and effective communication skills, ability to establish relationships
