The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Restaurant General Manager in the day-to-day running of restaurant operations. This role requires a dedicated leader who can inspire our team, elevate guest experiences, and uphold our high standards of service. Pay

Minimum \u2013 Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $43,888 - $59,100 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing proceduresMaintain positive guest relations and high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfactionSupport the Restaurant General Manager in training, motivating, and developing team members to maintain high performance and professionalismAssist with administrative tasks such as ordering and inventory, and oversee scheduling, payroll, and point of sale systemsMonitor and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with regulations

More about youMinimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant or hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standardsKnowledge of food and beverage service standards, health regulations, and safety proceduresStrong communication, organizational, and time management skillsProficient computer skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and point of sale systemsAbility to obtain ServSafe, Food Safety Handler, and Training for Intervention Procedures certificationsThe capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
