Engine plant assistant resident engineers are part of Ford Motor Company’s Internal Combustion Engine Propulsion and Thermal Systems Engineering (IPTSE) organization. Engine plant assistant resident engineers are responsible for working with the manufacturing teams to identify, contain and resolve ongoing quality issues. Assistant residents are also responsible for engine component and system launches in the plant. Engine assistant plant residents will work closely with the propulsion design teams, calibration, plant vehicle teams and core quality.
This position reports to the resident engineer and is on-site at Cleveland Engine Plant (CEP). CEP is located in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and produces the 2.3L I4 and 3.5L V6 engines.
