Reporting to the QA/QC Leader, the successful co-op student will be responsible for verifying and measuring incoming parts flagged for inspection to ensure company standards are met and specifications are matched against engineering drawings. The co-op student will also work with team members on calibrating shop equipment.

Work Term: Winter 2026 (Jan - April) - 4 Months
Work Arrangement: Day Shift, On-Site, 5 days per week (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities

Approval of finished products for shipment involving visual verification, mechanical inspection and electrical testingCalibration of mechanical and electrical instrument measuring equipmentParticipate, when necessary, in troubleshooting and problem-solvingRead and interpret part and assembly drawingsCollaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspectionsRecord and maintain inspection and calibration recordsCollect and summarize quality reports monthly

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality AssuranceAvailable and eligible to work a 4 Month Co-op Work Term for the Winter 2026 termA team playerExcellent communication skillsKeen interest in design and manufacturingSome manufacturing experience is an asset
