Assistant Property Manager
Description We’re looking for a reliable and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to help oversee daily operations at one of our residential communities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has a strong eye for detail. What You’ll Do: + Support Leasing Activities: + Assist with showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements. Help maintain high occupancy rates through excellent customer service and follow-up. + Resident Relations: + Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing questions, concerns, and service requests with professionalism and care. + Maintenance Coordination: + Submit and track work orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues. Conduct property inspections to uphold quality standards. + Administrative Support: + Maintain accurate resident files and property records. Assist with rent collection, invoice processing, and budget tracking. + Marketing & Events: + Help promote available units through online listings and community outreach. Support resident engagement by coordinating events and communications. + Compliance & Reporting: + Ensure adherence to company policies and housing regulations. Assist with preparing reports on occupancy, financials, and property performance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field. • Strong knowledge of residential property management practices, including leasing and tenant relations. • Familiarity with Yardi software or similar property management platforms. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with tenants and team members. • Proven ability to manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and file organization. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. • Ability to coordinate maintenance efforts and liaise with vendors and contractors. • Experience in marketing and community engagement is preferred.
