Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Assistant Project Manager to support the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation. This role involves coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Additionally, the Assistant Project Manager will support procurement efforts, compliance tracking, and participate in site visits and progress meetings to monitor construction activities and resolve issues.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.Support procurement efforts and compliance tracking.Participate in site visits and progress meetings to monitor construction activities and resolve issues.Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and financial reports.Prepare monthly forecasts, billing packages, and closeout documentation.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.Essential SkillsExperience working in Procore.Experience with RFIs, submittals, and change orders.3 years of construction management experience, ideally within interior fit-out projects.Project coordination and commercial construction experience.Project scheduling expertise.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management.Work Environment
The work environment involves on-site hours from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. You will be part of a family-oriented company established for over 30 years, offering growth opportunities to become a project executive. Structured bonuses and raises are available based on company performance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr.
