Job Description
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Sr. Project Manager in a dynamic construction environment. This role involves managing construction documents and coordinating paperwork for 2-3 projects simultaneously, with project sizes ranging from $2 million to $10 million. The position requires occasional site meetings across the east coast and involves client communication, scheduling, and material orders.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the Sr Project Manager in managing all construction documents including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.Coordinate paperwork for projects and work closely with subcontractors.Assist in client communication, scheduling, and material orders.Attend site meetings on project sites over the east coast as needed.Support project management activities such as scheduling, material ordering, meeting minutes, and progress meetings.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a construction setting supporting project management.Proficiency in managing construction documents including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and blueprints.Experience in written and verbal communication with trade contractors.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred.Work Environment
The role is based in an office in Aberdeen with a small, family-like team of approximately 10 people. You will be required to travel to job sites twice a month for day trips. The work environment is characterized by small project teams, typically consisting of a Project Manager and a Superintendent, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.00/hr.
