Civil & Interior Manager - Fit-out ProjectPosition Overview

Responsible for managing all civil and interior aspects of commercial fit-out projects, ensuring quality execution, timeline adherence, and budget compliance.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all civil works and interior finishes during the fitout processCoordinate with architects, designers, and contractors to implement design specificationsManage subcontractors and craftspeople for interior elements (flooring, partitions, ceilings, etc.)Review and approve material selections and finishes according to project requirementsConduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with specificationsMonitor project schedule and budget for interior and civil componentsIdentify and resolve construction issues that impact interior elementsEnsure compliance with building codes, health & safety regulations, and accessibility standardsReview and approve shop drawings related to civil works and interior finishesManage project handover and closeout documentation for interior aspectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Architecture, Construction Management, or related field5+ years of experience in commercial fitout project managementStrong knowledge of construction methodologies, interior finishes, and material specificationsExcellent understanding of building codes and regulationsProficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawingsExperience with project management software and MS OfficeStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentsSkills & CompetenciesDetail-oriented with strong technical expertise in interior constructionStrong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressureExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesBudget management and cost control experienceTeam leadership and subcontractor management expertise
