The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is hiring an Assistant Program Director – Engineering, Technology, & Media Arts (ETMA) to join our System Office’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) team. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for CTE in Colorado and has conference planning experience. If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply! Examples of Duties
This role supervises and manages the operation and logistical support for the Technology Student Association (TSA) Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO), which fosters leadership abilities in students. You will assist the Program Director for ETMA in providing leadership, expertise, and coordination that promotes excellence in CTE programs at the secondary and postsecondary levels.
+ Manage the day-to-day operations of the TSA CTSO by acting as the main point of contact for members, both current and potential, tracking finances, and maintaining official records.
+ Establish, implement, and manage the process for logistical support for state conferences, officer training, and other leadership events including, but not limited to contracts, registration, content management systems, and competitive events.
+ Provide statewide technical assistance to local chapter advisors as well as mentoring new teachers in establishing and strengthening their CTSO as an integral part of their CTE program.
+ Supervise the state leadership team that is composed of student officers and adult advisors.
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
+ Bachelor’s degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute year-for-year for the Bachelor’s degree.
+ Two years of professional experience that includes:
+ Experience with student organizations (CTSOs preferred).
+ Experience in conference planning and coordination.

Work Location/Travel Expectations:
+ This position is located at 9101 E Lowry Blvd, Denver, CO 80230.
+ One day per week in the office is required.
+ In-state travel along with attendance to a minimum of 2 out-of-state conferences is required. For these conferences, evening and weekend hours are required.
+ Alternative work arrangements, including flexible schedules and remote work may be available. All work must be completed in the state of Colorado.
