Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job Sam Houston State University is seeking an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management. The primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate students (both face-to-face and online modalities), conducting research, publishing in scholarly journals, and providing service to the department, college, university, academy, and/or local community. Besides a primary focus on operations and/or supply chain management, applicants should express interest in a specialty course like global logistics, strategic sourcing/procurement, decision analysis, and/or supply chain ERP. Further, the candidate should have the enthusiasm to mentor undergraduate students and work collegially with faculty from the department and/or the College of Business Administration. Candidates will need to maintain AACSB’s Scholarly Academic qualification as defined by the College of Business Administration. Educational Requirements for the Position PhD – Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management, or related field; ABD considered. Experience Required for the Position Candidate must have classroom experience. Other Requirements for the Position Individual will typically teach 9 hours per semester, engage in research, and support the college through service.
