The Department of Mathematics of Baruch College – CUNY invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track position beginning on or about August 28, 2026. The appointment will be at the assistant professor level. The department is seeking a candidate whose research interests intersect with those of our faculty, these areas include combinatorics, number theory, financial mathematics, probability, and computer science.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
A Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field is required, as well as strong undergraduate teaching skills and a demonstrated commitment to research.
**COMPENSATION**
$87,978- $105-593; commensurate with qualifications and experience
CUNY is in the process of implementing salary schedule increases. Once implemented, salaries of eligible employees will be adjusted by 3.25% effective 9/1/2025 and 3.5% effective 9/1/26, in accordance with the terms of the PSC-CUNY collective bargaining agreement.
