Description of Work Unit
The Department of Management is one of five academic departments in the College of Business. The Department currently has 20 tenure-track faculty, nine contract and continuing faculty, one senior research scholar, and two postdoctoral researchers who serve approximately 3,300 business majors, over 1,000 business minors, and 1,000 graduate students. With robust research support and a collaborative research community, Department faculty excel in publishing in top management and disciplinary journals. Additionally, the Department excels in maintaining up-to-date and impactful curricula, and its faculty members receive widespread recognition for their teaching excellence. Position Summary
The Department of Management at Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for a tenure-tenure track Assistant Professor in Organizational Behavior/Human Resource Management. This position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of Management at the College of Business. The start date for a Fall of 2026 appointment is August 16th, 2026. Salary and benefits are competitive. Specific responsibilities include:
+ conducting research leading to scholarly publication in leading academic journals;
+ teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in organizational behavior, human resource management, and other related topics; and
+ providing service to the College, University, profession, and community (service expectations are commensurate with rank).

Required Job Qualifications
+ A Ph.D. in Organizational behavior, Human resource management, or related field. ABD candidates will be considered with sufficient evidence that the doctorate degree will be completed before August 15, 2026.
+ An established record of publishing research in top-tier, peer reviewed, academic journals, or a demonstrated potential to do so.
+ The ability to conduct research with colleagues; effectively teach courses in organizational behavior and/or human resource management; provide service commensurate with rank.
Preferred Job Qualifications
In addition to required qualifications, preferred candidates will have:
+ An impactful research program that emphasizes organizational behavior and/or human resource management aligned with our College’s vision of positive societal impact;
+ Evidence of teaching effectiveness in organizational behavior (e.g., leadership, teams) and/or human resource management courses (e.g., strategic human resource management, employment law; data analytics); and
+ The ability to work effectively in a department that places significant emphasis on interdisciplinary interaction and integration.
