The Zicklin School of Business, New York City’s premier public business school, is renowned for its excellence in offering nationally ranked business programs. These include BBA and MBA degrees, specialized MS degrees including one in Business Analytics, executive programs, and the Zicklin PhD in Business, offered jointly with the CUNY Graduate Center. The school offers a comprehensive focus on operations and decision analytics, with ODA concentrations available in the BBA, MSBA, and the PhD programs. The ODA faculty routinely publish in top-tier journals and host internationally-known scholars in the department’s research seminar series. The Narendra Paul Loomba Department of Management at the Zicklin School of Business is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Operations and Decision Analytics (ODA), commencing in August of 2026. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a rigorous research agenda in operations and decision analytics, leading to publications in top-tier journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, as well as contribute to the doctoral concentration in ODA. We welcome both analytical and empirical research orientations. Junior ODA faculty typically teach a BBA course as well as a technical PhD seminar. More senior ODA faculty (i.e., senior assistant professor and higher) are expected to contribute to the Zicklin School’s growing catalog of operations and analytics courses at the MBA and MS levels. **QUALIFICATIONS** We seek applicants who hold a PhD (or are ABD) in Operations Research, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related field. **COMPENSATION** $ 175,000 – $ 190,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
