Job Description
Corporate Services manages sourcing and procurement activities for select categories at A&F Co. We are looking for a naturally curious self-starter with strong critical thinking skills who can demonstrate flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, digitally led environment.
The ideal candidate must be a relationship builder and able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business partners, stakeholders, and key strategic suppliers, as high levels of coordination are required. This position is based at our Global Home Office and involves managing indirect spend for select categories.
The individual in this role will play a key part in the success of our Corporate Services supplier selection, contracting, and lifecycle relationship management. They will manage areas such as Energy & Utilities, Store Maintenance, Store Operations, Store Design and Construction, among other categories, across various applications and technologies.
Responsibilities include building strong cross-functional partner relationships to support each area in achieving their strategic goals.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Cross-Functional Partnerships Develop strong relationships with business partners to understand needs and requirementsGain deep expertise in categories, suppliers, and market dynamicsCollaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, IT, and other key stakeholdersSupplier Selection & Management Drive supplier selection through RFI, RFP or other techniquesPromote supplier diversity, sustainability, and ESG initiativesEnsure compliance with internal and external regulationsSupplier Performance & Relationship Management Identify and manage strategic vendors Oversee performance reviews, scorecards, SLAs, and KPIs Conduct QBRs and roadmap reviews with key suppliersEnsure contract compliance and maintain A&F as a preferred customerMarket Intelligence & Reporting Track and report on spend, cost savings, pay terms, and rebatesBenchmark industry trends and identify improvement opportunitiesAssess new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce costsContract Management Drive adoption of contract best practices Lead legal and functional contract reviewsNegotiate and execute favorable contracts, ensuring clarity for business owners and suppliers Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminationsCategory & Expense Management Maintain category roadmaps and oversee supplier risk reviewsOptimize expense management, including travel and new categories Track and maximize use of credits, incentives, and vouchers Benchmark cost-saving opportunities and negotiate better pricing with providersEnsure policy compliance and adherence to per diemsWhat Do You Need To Bring?
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, 1+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the Energy & Utilities category Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and global teamsCustomer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach to building business partnershipsAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needsDetail-oriented with strong follow-through and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated and resilient in tackling challengesAbility to handle protected vendor data with discretion and follow compliance protocols Willingness to work alternate hours as needed to support global time zonesThrives in a fast-paced, structured environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with PeopleSoft, iValua, and DocuSign is a plusDesire to learn, improve, and take on new challengesOur Company
