ASSISTANT POOL & BEACH MANAGER  

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for an ASSISTANT POOL & BEACH MANAGER. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Pools team, the ASSISTANT POOL & BEACH MANAGER works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

 

Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Recreation Department to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for operation. 

The ability to be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts. 

Describe and ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods. 

Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control. 

Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments; conduct preshift meetings with staff. 

Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed. 

 

WHAT TO BRING 

 

Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage 

One to two years previous experience in a Manager or assistant manager position. 

Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
